New Restaurant and Marina Coming to Pensacola in July
Bushwacker’s Landing will serve burgers, seafood, and frozen cocktails with marina access and open-air seating.

Bushwacker's Landing will be Pensacola's newest seaside attraction when it opens at 13515 Canal Dr, Pensacola, FL 32507 in mid-July. The family-run restaurant is owned by Sean and Jennifer McClellan, and Sean's father Pat McClellan of Flora-Bama is also invested in the project.
Sean shared that the soft opening is scheduled for mid-July, and the grand opening is planned for early fall which is when the restaurant anticipates completing its marina.
Bushwacker's Landing will feature 128 seats in a large, open-air patio with a family-friendly atmosphere and a stunning water view.
On two acres, waterfront venue has a 2,400-square-foot wooden pavilion surrounded by two food trailers, a shipping container bar, and a merchandise trailer. There will be nine slips at the marina for day-use boaters, as well as more pull-up spots that will make it easy for guests to dock and eat. A boardwalk will extend from the pavilion to the marina docks, providing easy access to the water.
The menu will feature burgers, wings, tenders, oysters, seafood baskets, sandwiches, and salads. Six draft beers, a changing selection of canned beers and seltzers, and a cocktail program with fresh juices and new takes on classic drinks will be available at the bar.
Signature drinks include frozen Bushwhackers, a famous drink with a rum base and flavors of coffee and chocolate. Additionally, they will also feature a cart offering donuts, coffee, and ice cream for guests.
The restaurant's name is inspired by the McClellan family's late yellow Labrador, Bushwhacker, who was named after the cocktail originating from the Virgin Islands. Apparently, the bartender who invented the drink named it after their dog, Bushwacker, McClellan shared.
Bushwacker's Landing is Sean McClellan's first independently owned restaurant. However, the McClellan family has a history in hospitality—Sean's father, Pat, is one of the owners of the famous Flora-Bama, a bar and music venue located on the border between Florida and Alabama.
The kitchen and bar will be open from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. On weekends, they open at 10:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
