SPRING HILL, FL – La Casa Del Sazon Restaurant and Lounge is preparing to open at 4560 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34606, offering Puerto Rican dishes and late-night service, owner David Gonzalez shared with Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
What to Expect
La Casa Del Sazon Restaurant and Lounge will be a full-service restaurant and lounge focused on Puerto Rican cuisine. He said the concept centers on lunch and dinner service with a bar and evening entertainment. Fridays and Saturdays will feature live bands during dinner service and a DJ later at night, Gonzalez told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
The menu will highlight mofongo in several preparations. “We're gonna have the mofongo with chicharrón, mofongo with steak, mofongo with shrimp,” Gonzalez told Business Debut.
He said the kitchen will also serve traditional pork and rice, arroz con pernil, along with empanadas and other appetizers.
Opening Timeline
Gonzalez said he is targeting the end of next month for opening.
An exact opening date is to be announced.
Hours
Gonzalez said La Casa Del Sazon Restaurant and Lounge plans to open Tuesday through Saturday.
He said Monday through Thursday hours will run from 10 a.m. — 2 a.m.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant will host live bands during dinner from about 6 p.m. — 9 p.m., followed by a DJ from 9 p.m. and continuing into the night, Gonzalez told Business Debut.
