LAKE WALES, FL — Fresh Pasta Etc is preparing to open a combined cafe and retail food shop at 1 N Scenic Hwy Ste 101 & 103 Lake Wales, FL 33853, owner Jean-Francois Poirier told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
Poirier described the project as a new venture for his team. Fresh Pasta Etc will operate both sides of the business under one roof, with the kitchen in the center of the space separating the concepts, Poirier told Business Debut.
What to Expect
The layout will include a retail area on one side and a cafe on the other, with two small dining rooms and a patio, Poirier shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.
Poirier said the patio is a key feature of the space. He described it as an outdoor area where guests can sit with a drink.
Fresh Pasta Etc will sell fresh pasta, sauces, desserts and sweets in the retail section for customers to prepare at home. The cafe side will serve sandwiches and the same sweets, which guests will be able to order with coffee and enjoy on site.
Poirier added that he plans to pursue a beer and wine license.
