New Fried Chicken and Steak Restaurant Coming to Clayton, GA
Clayton’s Chicken and Chophouse will soon bring Atlanta-style fried chicken, steaks, and cozy dining spaces to Clayton, GA.

The owners of Rabun Social are bringing a new dining destination to Clayton, GA, with Clayton’s Chicken and Chophouse set to open on April 15th, owner Michael Persoon shared with Business Debut. Located along 441 in Clayton, the restaurant will blend Atlanta-style fried chicken with an array of steaks, offering a trendy chicken house experience where guests can enjoy everything from buckets of fried chicken to ribeye steaks.
The space will feature three distinct sections: a main dining room, a 20' x 40' rooftop deck, and the Old Clayton Lounge, which will offer a cozy fireplace and an old-fashioned bar in the upstairs area.
In addition to the restaurant, Persoon and his team are launching The Hendrix Venue in downtown Clayton. This 5,400-square-foot warehouse space will serve as a premier event venue with a full bar and kitchen, ideal for concerts, weddings, comedy shows, private parties, and chef tastings.
Persoon's recently opened Rabun Social is a popular downtown restaurant known for its nightlife, smash burgers, sushi rolls, cocktails and sushi.
Stay tuned for updates as Clayton’s Chicken and Chophouse and The Hendrix Venue prepare to open and add new experiences to the Clayton dining and entertainment scene.
