New French Restaurant Opening This Month in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, NC — Le Parisien Restaurant is preparing to open at 62 N Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 after an eight-month remodel. Owner and chef Gabriel Attala told Business Debut the build-out is complete, and the team is waiting on final permits, with a target opening date in late February.

What to Expect

Le Parisien will be a two-level restaurant with two distinct atmospheres. The first floor will feature a large bar area with high-top seating, plus additional dining downstairs.

The bar itself is designed to accommodate up to 20 guests, Attala told Business Debut.

Menu and Vision

The restaurant will offer dinner service only at launch. Attala described the concept as French cuisine with high-quality products and elevated service, without the formal expectations often associated with traditional fine dining.

“I don’t want it to be a white tablecloth restaurant,” Attala told Business Debut. “I want people to come and have a good time, the French way.”

Brunch is planned as a future addition on Saturdays and Sundays, though not at the beginning, Attala said.

Opening Timeline

Le Parisien is aiming for Feb. 20, pending final permits. Attala told Business Debut he expects to have a confirmed opening date Tuesday and plans to begin with a soft opening.

Hours

Le Parisien plans to open five days a week at launch, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Attala said the team expects to expand to six days a week after opening.
