RIVERVIEW, FL — Saladworks & Frutta Bowls is preparing to open its first Tampa-area restaurant in early March, owner Haifa Eltaher told Business Debut. The dual-concept location will open at 9830 Upper Alafia Ct #107, Riverview, FL 33578. Eltaher, along with her sons Zayn Eltaher and Farris Eltaher, recently purchased the Tampa Territory and plan to open two additional locations over the next several years.

What to Expect

The fast-casual restaurant will feature kiosks for ordering and seating both indoors and outdoors. Inside, guests can expect about 27 seats, with additional patio seating. Saladworks will offer 12 signature salads, build-your-own options, soups, wraps, hot sandwiches, and catering services.

Frutta Bowls will serve smoothies, specialty coffees, açaí bowls, avocado toast, and additional breakfast items. Eltaher noted that Frutta Bowls recently introduced a Dubai Chocolate item that has been well-received across the franchise.

Eltaher said she prefers to build her own salads with fresh greens and roasted vegetables such as butternut squash and Brussels sprouts. “I’m really about eating healthy and clean,” she told Business Debut.

She added that many residents from the Northeast have expressed excitement about the brand’s arrival. “People who moved from the Northeast are really excited about seeing Saladworks and Frutta Bowls coming to this area,” she said.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting the first week of March for opening, pending final inspections.

Hours

The restaurant plans to open seven days a week with anticipated hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Final hours will be confirmed after coordination with the landlord and franchise.
