New DeLand Spot to Serve Wings and Soul Food Favorites

DELAND, FL — Caine’s Wings, a new restaurant from Danielle Caine, is preparing to open in January 2026 at 238 N. Clara Ave, DeLand, FL 32720.

The concept builds on Caine’s success as a local food vendor, now expanding into her first permanent location inside Northwest Square.

What to Expect

Caine’s Wings will serve a wide range of chicken wing flavors with fries and rotating daily dinners featuring comfort and soul food favorites. Guests can expect dishes such as meatloaf with mashed potatoes and vegetables, brisket, or “Wings with Soul,” which pairs flavored wings with sides like collard greens, macaroni and cheese, or yams.

The restaurant will offer about 15 seats inside and access to additional seating in Northwest Square’s shared food court. Guests will be able to dine in, order takeout, or place catering orders.

Menu and Vision

“I started out doing community events and catering around Volusia County, and I sold out every time,” Caine told Business Debut. “Everyone kept telling me I should open a restaurant, so I decided to take that step and open Caine’s Wings.”

Caine runs the business alongside her husband, Kevin Caine, a well-known local pastor and the announcer for DeLand High School football games. “He’s very involved in the community, and we’re excited to keep growing right here in DeLand,” she said.

In addition to everyday service, Caine plans to continue catering and participating in local festivals and vendor events.

Opening Timeline

Caine’s Wings is targeting a January 20, 2025, opening.

Hours

The restaurant will be open Tuesday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Caine’s Wings will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
