New Crepe and Coffee Spot Coming Soon to Destin
Opening in early December, Merveilleuse Crepe & Coffee Shop will offer customizable crepes, waffles, and handcrafted coffee.
DESTIN, FL — Merveilleuse Crepe & Coffee Shop is preparing to open at 981 US-98 Unit 4, Destin, FL 32541. Owner Amine Bachar told Business Debut the full-service restaurant is targeting an early December opening.
What to Expect
The concept will center around freshly made crepes with options for both signature and build-your-own varieties. Guests can also expect waffles and a selection of coffee and cold drinks. Bachar said the menu will allow guests to customize flavors with sauces, toppings, and other additions.
The space will seat about 20 to 24 guests and is designed to offer a cozy, relaxed environment suitable for both dine-in and takeout. “I want to create something new and special for the area—something that feels comfortable where people can enjoy dessert or coffee, even later in the evening,” Bachar told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
Bachar, originally from Morocco, brings international inspiration from his experiences in France and his background in pastry and coffee. “I always had a passion to create something that is mine—a name, a brand that could grow,” he told Business Debut.
He will open the business with his partner and uncle, Rahal Raihane, who serves as the project’s investor and collaborator. Together, they aim to bring a high-quality, community-centered dessert and coffee experience to Destin.
In addition to crepes and waffles, Bachar plans to introduce a small display of desserts such as crème brûlée, tiramisu, and macarons. The restaurant will also feature thoughtfully designed interiors to match the refined yet welcoming menu.
