New Comfort Food Spot Opening Near Atlanta University Center

Hungry AF is planning a new Atlanta location and a unit in McDonough.

ATLANTA, GA — Hungry AF is planning a new Atlanta location at 842 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30314, with a second location also in the works for McDonough at 1557 GA-20, McDonough, GA 30253. Co-owner Chris Berry told Business Debut the Atlanta restaurant is in the permitting stage with the city.

What to Expect

The Atlanta location is expected to span about 1,400 square feet, Berry told Business Debut. The restaurant is planned near the Atlanta University Center, including Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College.

Hungry AF has built a reputation around Atlanta for serving comfort foods like wings, pastas, hibachi, Philly cheesesteaks, and much more. The brand has expanded rapidly across the Atlanta area, including locations we've covered in Marietta, Stonescrest and Conyers.

Opening Timeline

Hungry AF is targeting a late spring or early summer opening for the Atlanta location, Berry told Business Debut. The McDonough location is targeting late summer or early fall.

Hours

Berry told Business Debut the restaurants plan to operate seven days a week, with the same hours as other Hungry AF locations: 11 a.m.—11 p.m. during the week and 11 a.m.—12 a.m. on weekends.
