New Coffee Concept Opening Inside RAK Outfitters in Calhoun
Canyon Creek Coffee and Co. is bringing espresso drinks, health-focused beverages, and baked goods to RAK Outfitters in Calhoun.
CALHOUN, GA — Canyon Creek Coffee and Co. is preparing to open inside RAK Outfitters at 625 Blackwood Terrace SE, Calhoun, GA 30701. Owner Noah North told Business Debut the team expects to announce an opening date soon, with plans to open three to four days after that announcement.
What to Expect
Canyon Creek Coffee and Co. will operate similarly to a coffee counter inside a larger retail space, with its setup located in a corner of the RAK Outfitters building. North told Business Debut the space includes roll-up glass bay windows designed to support outdoor events during warmer months.
Menu and Vision
North told Business Debut the menu will focus on espresso-based drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos and more. The shop also plans to serve matcha and chai, along with smoothies, fraps and “dirty sodas,” which North said have been popular with younger customers.
North told Business Debut he also plans to introduce a small health-focused lineup, including protein coffees and other beverages. The menu will include baked goods, with gluten-free options as well.

The Norths also own Cowpokes Coffee in Denton, N.C., which features a distinct western theme. North told Business Debut they enjoy creating coffee shops that function as community gathering places and plan to host pop-ups and local vendor events.

Hours
North told Business Debut the shop plans to be open 7 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the possibility of staying open later. Limited Sunday hours are planned for the future.
