NORTH REDINGTON BEACH, FL - Banyan Breeze, a new cafe centered around coffee, tea, and traditional kava drinks, is preparing to open at 16907 Gulf Blvd, North Redington Beach, FL 33708. Owner Hailey Rank told Business Debut the cafe is expected to open within the next couple of weeks as final inspections wrap up.

The concept is owned and operated by Hailey Rank and her husband Travis Rank and will mark their first brick-and-mortar cafe. The space is designed as a relaxed gathering spot with an emphasis on community, conversation, and alcohol-free beverage options.

Business Debut learned about this story first from What Now.

What to Expect

Banyan Breeze will function as a cafe-style bar featuring bar seating, cowork-friendly tables, and seating along the front windows overlooking Gulf Boulevard. The roughly 1,000-square-foot space will accommodate about 24 seats.

Rank said the environment is intended to welcome remote workers and locals looking for a relaxed place to gather during the day or evening.

“We really stand for creating a space where people feel loved and supported and celebrated,” Rank told Business Debut. “A lot of our drinks are very community centered.”

The menu will focus primarily on beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and kava, a traditional drink with roots in the South Pacific that is often consumed socially.

Rank described kava as a relaxing alternative to alcohol that encourages conversation and connection. “Traditional kava is one of my favorite things,” Rank told Business Debut. “It’s a really good alternative if you’re not into drinking alcohol and want a place to sit at the bar and chill out a little bit.”

In addition to beverages, Banyan Breeze plans to offer a small selection of locally made snack items and light bites.

Opening Timeline

The team does not have an official opening date yet but is targeting an opening within the next couple of weeks pending final inspections. Rank said the goal is to open before the end of the month.

Hours

Planned hours are approximately 7 a.m. – midnight daily, with Sunday hours expected to begin around 8 a.m. Hours may be adjusted once the cafe opens and the team evaluates customer demand.
