New Bar Opening in Biscoe on S Main St.
Biscoe native Michael Kevin Cagle is behind Mill Town Tavern.
BISCOE, NC — Mill Town Tavern, a new family-owned bar concept, is targeting an opening in the next few weeks at 111 S Main St, Biscoe, NC 27209.
Owners Michael Kevin Cagle, his wife Elizabeth R. Cagle, and their daughter Elizabeth A. Cagle are behind the project, with the family handling much of the build-out themselves, Elizabeth A. Cagle told Business Debut.
What to Expect
The initial launch will focus on bar service, with cocktails and beer. The team said food service may come later, after the bar is established.
The space is intended to be a “homey” spot rooted in Biscoe and its local history. “Everybody’s welcomed,” Cagle told Business Debut.
Vision
Mill Town Tavern plans to offer cocktails and beer, with an added cigar component. The team said it plans to include a cigar station and an outdoor patio where guests can smoke.
Cagle said the bar will also include a subtle military theme. She attributed that piece of the concept to her father’s 32 years of Marine Corps service.
Opening Timeline
The team is aiming to open in the next few weeks, but an exact opening date has not been announced.
Cagle said the family began renovations around August and has been working through licensing and approval steps required to open.
Hours
Planned hours are to be announced. Cagle said the bar may be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, with the schedule potentially expanding during football season and into basketball season.
