WILMINGTON, NC — Cinch Billiards, a new billiards-led bar from owner Joseph Sena, is slated to open December 5 at 115 North Front Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.

What to Expect

The 5,000-square-foot space is organized into distinct sections: a pool zone with four Gold Crown tables; a sports viewing area around a 45-foot bar with five TVs; a lounge outfitted with seven leather couches and low lighting; a front “safari” nook partially partitioned with a 14-foot arch; and a rear patio of roughly 15 feet with an unobstructed view of the Cape Fear River.

A 120-inch projector and DJ capability will support major events. The design blends retro and art deco elements for an upscale, curated atmosphere.

“It’s not a pool hall—that’s not how I describe it,” Sena told Business Debut. “You can move room to room, and you’re never stuck with loud sports or the clank of balls. There’s something for everyone; that’s the intention of the space,” Sena told Business Debut.

Cocktails and Beer

Sena said the bar program will feature a broad beer selection and about 15 specialty cocktails alongside familiar classics. “I’m known for cocktail bars,” he told Business Debut, noting the goal is a comfortable, high-quality bar experience anchored by billiards and sports.

Ownership and Background

Sena, a serial entrepreneur and builder, led a full renovation of the 100-year-old building, taking it to the studs while retaining original character. He has developed and sold multiple hospitality projects in Wilmington and previously operated restaurants and bars in Greensboro, combining hands-on construction with operations experience.

Opening Timeline

The first official day of business is planned for December 5, with possible trial runs beforehand to test systems. Additional details will be announced as opening approaches.
