Mythos Greek Bistro Bringing Patio Dining to St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Mythos Greek Bistro is preparing to open at 2501 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33713. Co-owner Danjel Morina told Business Debut the team is “trying by the end of this month,” with exact timing to be announced. Morina and partner Dinos Chilias plan a casual, patio-forward Greek concept. Chilias is the restaurateur behind La Creperia Cafe in Ybor City.

What to Expect

Mythos will emphasize outdoor dining with the majority of seating on a large patio featuring a pergola, sectional lounge areas, and upgraded lighting. Inside, the bistro will have roughly five tables, with overall capacity around 150 guests. Plans include late-night programming on select days with live music, DJs, singers, and dancers.

Menu and Vision

The menu centers on Greek classics and house made spreads. Dishes Morina cited include branzino with spinach rice and Brussels sprouts, a seafood orzo with calamari, scallops, mussels, and shrimp, and small plates like grilled octopus and calamari.

Tzatziki, hummus, and spicy feta will be prepared in house, along with desserts such as orange pie, to be announced in full when the menu is released.

“We want a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere where people can enjoy the patio and good food,” Morina told Business Debut. Hookah service may be offered as a late-night option after 9–10 p.m., not during earlier family dining hours.

Opening Timeline

Opening is to be announced, with the team targeting the end of the month. Morina said the menu will be published this week, and Google business listings will begin updating as progress continues.
