Mr. Tophat's Tasty Taters Launching in Palm Beach County

A new food truck concept, Mr. Tophat's Tasty Taters, is set to launch in Palm Beach County by the end of the month, according to CFO and sous chef Brian Stone. The family-run business is a collaborative effort between owner Kat Stone, her husband Brian, and their son Drake Stone as chef de cuisine.

The food truck will offer a Chipotle-style fast-casual experience centered around potatoes. Customers can choose a base of baked potato, sweet potato or French fries, then customize with various proteins, toppings and sauces.

Protein options include hamburger, grilled chicken, shrimp, smoked brisket, pulled pork, Italian meat sauce and sloppy joe style. The menu also features vegetarian options and even potato-based desserts like potato cookies.

The Stones, who have experience in restaurant service and management, see this as an opportunity to introduce their son, a culinary program student, to the food industry. Their long-term goal is for Drake to eventually take over the business, Brian Stone told Business Debut.

Currently awaiting final inspection, Mr. Tophat's Tasty Taters plans to begin operations predominantly on weekends, attending events and venues while seeking a semi-regular location in Palm Beach County.
