VALDOSTA, GA — Three Crazy Bakers is planning a Valdosta location at 124-126 N Ashley St, Valdosta, GA 31601. Owner Hart Brown, who is opening the restaurant with his wife, Margaret Brown, told Business Debut they are targeting an opening in about 12 to 14 months.

The Browns bought the downtown building about 2 1/2 years ago and have been rehabbing it while preparing the restaurant build-out.

Business Debut first saw in the news in Valdosta Today.

What to Expect

Brown said the space will seat roughly 50 to 60 guests, with an additional small private room expected to accommodate about 20 to 25 people for events such as baby showers and celebrations. The layout is planned to include a dining room and a bar area serving beer and wine.

The team expects to hire about 25 to 30 employees. Their son, Burton Brown, will serve as the manager of the Valdosta location.

The Valdosta restaurant will operate like the original Three Crazy Bakers in Moultrie, with the same menu and service style, Brown said.

The menu includes lunch and dinner options, plus baked treats. The restaurant’s website highlights items such as roll-up sandwiches, chicken salad, quiche, hamburgers, salads, rotating specials. The dinner menu includes options like filet, prime rib, and shrimp and grits, along with desserts including cinnamon rolls, brownies, cheesecakes, and key lime pie.

Opening Timeline

The Browns have focused on restoring the building, including installing a new roof, repairing and adding staircases, restoring front windows, and preparing the restaurant area for plumbing. Brown said there is still significant work ahead before opening.

Hours

In Moultrie, Three Crazy Bakers operates Monday through Saturday 10 a.m.—9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.—8 p.m.

Brown told Business Debut the Valdosta location may not open with seven-day-a-week hours immediately, but those hours are the long-term plan.
