Moos and Brews Bringing Ice Cream and Coffee to Carrollton
The family-owned shop will serve Blue Bell ice cream, espresso drinks, smoothies, and loaded teas.
CARROLLTON, GA — Moos and Brews is targeting a late June opening at 1004 Bankhead Hwy, Ste. C-35, Carrollton, GA 30117, owner Krystal Killcreas told Business Debut.
The women-owned, veteran-owned and locally owned business will be operated by Killcreas and her husband, Matthew Killcreas, along with help from their daughters, Hailey and Emma Toney.
The shop will open in First Tuesday Mall near Thunder Zone, in a former Cricket Wireless space.
What to Expect
Moos and Brews will serve Blue Bell ice cream, fresh-ground espresso drinks, lattes, coffee, loaded energy teas, protein shakes, smoothies, candy, and eventually cotton candy and Italian ice, Killcreas told Business Debut.
The shop will also include a self-serve candy wall with a variety of candies for kids, plus seating inside the 1,400-square-foot space. Killcreas said she is planning about 10 to 12 tables, along with pastel colors, painted windows, a cow-themed design and a photo wall area for families.
Menu and Vision
Coffee options will include drinks such as a salted caramel vanilla latte, which Killcreas described as one of her favorites. The shop will offer sugar-free syrups and dairy-free milk options including oat milk, almond milk and coconut milk, along with some gluten-free ice cream options, Killcreas told Business Debut.
The loaded energy teas will be sugar-free and include 200 milligrams of caffeine, with flavors such as Tropical Sunrise and Watermelon Sugar, Killcreas said. Protein shakes and smoothies are planned with nearby Planet Fitness and a neighboring dance studio in mind.
“I’m just looking forward to having a great experience to where families can come in here and get the Blue Bell ice cream,” Killcreas told Business Debut.
Killcreas also owns and still operates Coffee Convoy, a mobile coffee trailer she has run for the past two years. She said Coffee Convoy will continue operating on weekends for events across West Georgia while Moos and Brews opens as her first brick-and-mortar business.

Moos and Brews is targeting the end of June and plans to be open before July 4th, Killcreas told Business Debut.
