Momo House to Bring Indian and Nepali Flavors to Raleigh
Opening in 2026, Momo House will serve coffee, breakfast, and authentic Indian and Nepali meals in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, NC — A new Indian and Nepali restaurant is preparing to take the place of Cha House at 3001 Hillsborough St #108, Raleigh, NC 27607. Owner Bimal Adhikari told Business Debut that he recently purchased Cha House, the boba tea and snacks concept still operating at the location.
What to Expect
Momo House will introduce an early morning coffee and breakfast service from 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. In the afternoon and evening, the restaurant will shift to a casual lineup of Indian and Nepali dishes. The concept will retain some of Cha House’s beverage offerings, including milk teas and gourmet coffee drinks, once the transition is complete.
Opening Timeline
To support the expanded food program, Adhikari is adding a larger hood vent system to the kitchen. Construction will require a brief closure of no more than one week, expected sometime next year. In the meantime, the team is making cosmetic updates to the dining room to align with Momo House’s look and feel.
Cha House will continue operating until the formal rebranding takes place in 2026.
Hours
Breakfast service: 6 a.m. – 11 a.m.; lunch and dinner: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
