Ladder 24 Pizza, a new 18-foot food trailer, is set to launch later this month, serving wood-fired Neapolitan-inspired pizzas across Sarasota, Bradenton, and St. Pete, owner Patrick Murphy shared with Business Debut. Murphy is opening the business with business partner and co-owner Brian Meyer.

A firefighter in Pinellas County, Murphy is starting Ladder 24 as a way to bring his passion for pizza to the community during his off-duty hours. The mobile pizzeria will operate at events, festivals, breweries, and the Book Rescuers bookstore on Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Murphy’s pizzas are described as a mix between Neapolitan and bar-style, with a thinner, crispier crust crafted from locally sourced, fresh ingredients. The menu will feature five staple pizzas alongside a rotating seasonal option. Examples of the seasonal, specialty pies include fig and prosciutto for winter or lemon ricotta with squash for summer.
