Mistri Cafe and Hookah Lounge Opening Soon in Atlanta

A new restaurant and hookah spot is opening in Atlanta, owner Achuzie Ezenagu shared with Business Debut. Mistri Cafe and Hookah Lounge is making progress on its space at 554 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.

Ezenagu shared that the restaurant will serve a menu fusing down-south flavors with West African spices. Expect dishes like Cajun chicken or Cajun salmon pasta, jollof rice with spicy seafood, West African suya, lamb chops, spicy wings, and more.

The full-service restaurant will have seating indoors and outside in the courtyard space before the entrance. Hookah will also be available to guests sitting in the courtyard.

When they initially debut, Mistri Cafe and Hookah Lounge will be open from 12 pm to 12 am, Thursday through Monday. The intention is to expand to a seven-day schedule, with earlier closing times during the week. A brunch offering is also under consideration, Ezenagu said.

The building is undergoing renovations, and an opening date is not yet available. Business Debut will update this reporting as more information becomes available.
