Miss Luci's Tea Room to Open in Historic Bagdad Cottage
New Southern-style tea room and venue set to open in Bagdad's Forcade House, a cottage dating back to 1919.
Miss Luci's Tea Room & More, a new Southern-style tea room, is set to open in December in the historic Forcade house in Bagdad, Florida, owners Luci and David Bailley reported to Business Debut. Located at 6865 N Allen St, Bagdad, FL 32530, the tea room will occupy a cottage dating back to 1919 in this former mill town.
The menu will feature around 30 different teas, along with a seasonal selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, scones, quiches and small desserts. In the afternoons, guests can enjoy wine and champagne. The tea room will also offer ice cream on special event days.
Miss Luci's Tea Room & More aims to provide a unique dining experience, blending Southern comfort with the charm of a historic setting. The owners also plan to accommodate small weddings at the venue.
The Bailleys are enthusiasts of the historic roots of Bagdad, where a preserved home in the town bears the writing of Union soldiers on the walls and hoof-prints from horses on the floors.
Bringing a business to the Forcade House will continue to preserve the history of the area.
