Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño Officially Opens in Orlando
Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño debuts its first restaurant, expanding from a longtime food truck to a permanent Orlando space.
ORLANDO, FL — Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño has officially opened at 1790 N Chickasaw Trail, Orlando, FL 32825.
Co-owner Dalia Landez completed the interview on behalf of her mother, Rebeca Laces Hernandez, and shared that the team entered its soft opening earlier this week.
What to Expect
The restaurant offers a casual, family-run setting with seating for about 30 guests across five tables. The menu centers on Mexican staples made with Oaxacan influence. Guests can expect tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tlayudas prepared with quesillo imported directly from Oaxaca.
Menu and Vision
Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño serves what Landez described as “a little taste of Mexico and specifically from Oaxaca,” reflecting ingredients and traditions from the family’s home state in southern Mexico. She told Business Debut the goal is to share authentic flavors while keeping the menu approachable for all diners.
History
Before opening their first sit-down restaurant, the family operated a food truck on South Semoran Boulevard for three to five years. While that truck is now under a different name, it remained within the extended family and served as the foundation for their move into a permanent restaurant space.
Landez told Business Debut this marks their first full restaurant, a milestone they reached after years of operating in the food truck community.
Opening Timeline
The restaurant began its soft opening this week and is now welcoming customers daily.

A Message to the Orlando Community
Landez shared her mother’s gratitude for the early support the restaurant has received. She told Business Debut the family is “very grateful to be located in a city such as Orlando, which is very diverse,” noting that even within the first few days of opening, they have welcomed locals, tourists, and a strong showing from the Hispanic community. She added that the family is thankful for everyone who has come out to support their small, family-owned restaurant.
