Malio’s Beach House, a new high-end steak and seafood restaurant from the family behind Tampa’s celebrated Malio’s Prime, is set to open in St. Pete Beach early next year, co-owner Jen Iavarone told Business Debut. Taking over the Prima Cantina space at 4945 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706, this new venue will bring the same high-quality cuisine and craft cocktails as the downtown Tampa location, but with a unique beach-inspired ambiance, Iavarone said.

The restaurant aims for an early to mid-January opening and will feature seating for over 100+ guests, including indoor dining, a private room, a bar and lounge area, and an outdoor seating area for a relaxed coastal experience.

Malio’s Beach House continues a legacy started by Malio Iavarone in 1969, a popular restaurant, nightclub and cafe. The family tradition was renewed in 2007 by Derek Iavarone with the current Tampa location on North Ashley Drive.

Expected hours will likely run from 4 pm - 10 pm Tuesday through Friday, extending to 11 pm on weekends, along with plans for Saturday and Sunday brunch and a potential happy hour.
