Mahogany Scratch Kitchen Launching Food Truck in Plant City
New mobile eatery to offer Southern cuisine, building on owner Willie Fisher's catering success.
Mahogany Scratch Kitchen, a new food truck owned by Willie Fisher, is set to officially launch in mid-August, bringing a variety of Southern cuisines to the Plant City area.
The menu will feature classic Southern dishes including wings, oxtail, shrimp and grits, along with various seafood options. Side dishes will include collard greens, fries and mac and cheese.
Fisher, who learned to cook from his grandmother, has been operating Mahogany Scratch Kitchen as a catering business. The growing success of his catering has led to this expansion into a mobile food service.
Once operational, Mahogany Scratch Kitchen will rotate through different locations in the area. However, patrons can consistently find the truck on Sunday afternoons at Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries, located at 2104 Mud Lake Rd, Plant City, FL 33566.
