Bearfoot Tavern, a beloved local pub and gastro bar in Macon, has launched a food truck to serve its loyal customers while undergoing renovations after a catastrophic roof failure in July 2024, owner Kris Ellis shared with Business Debut.

Located at 468 2nd St, Macon, GA 31201, the tavern is undergoing a full remodel and plans to reopen in about 90 days. Once renovations are complete, Bearfoot Tavern will continue to offer the same popular food, drinks, and atmosphere that patrons have come to love.

In the meantime, the food truck is already serving fan-favorite dishes, including fish and chips, Reuben egg rolls, braised brisket sandwiches and more. Guests can stay updated on the food truck’s schedule and renovation progress by following Bearfoot Tavern on Facebook.
