Local Coffee Shop Bringing Community And Ministry To Ormond Beach
The Boardroom Coffee will open in mid-December offering surf-inspired decor and community events.
ORMOND BEACH, FL — Robbie O’Brien, pastor of Salty Church in Ormond Beach, told Business Debut that The Boardroom Coffee plans to open in mid-December at 26 Bovard Ave, Ormond Beach, FL 32176. The new coffee shop, owned by Salty Church, aims to serve as a community meeting place and ministry hub.
What to Expect
The Boardroom Coffee will operate Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. as a traditional coffee shop, offering a relaxed, beach-inspired environment with a surfboard theme. The concept plays on the double meaning of “boardroom” as both a meeting place and a nod to surfboards.
The space will include about 35 indoor seats, along with a dog-friendly outdoor patio accommodating an additional 30–40 guests. An attached assembly space will seat around 120 people and will be used for meetings and community events.
Menu and Vision
Guests can expect a menu featuring fresh bakery items, waffles, and flatbreads. “We’re building a menu that we hope is unique and a little bit different than what other coffee shops in town might have,” O’Brien told Business Debut.
The coffee shop will also partner with Steel Oak Coffee, which will supply the beans and manage day-to-day operations. O’Brien described The Boardroom Coffee as both a neighborhood café and a ministry tool. “We want this to be a premier meeting place for the community,” he said. “It’s a place where friends can meet for coffee or groups can gather, but it also serves as a ministry space on Sundays.”
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a mid-December opening.
Hours
Open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Closed Sundays to the general public, with the space reserved for church and ministry activities.
