LILBURN, GA – A new dining spot blending flavors of Peru and Mexico is making its way to Gwinnett County this fall. Inca Maya Restaurant will open at 605 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd NW, Lilburn, GA 30047, with plans to open by mid-September, owner Jessica Ysla told Business Debut.

Inka Maya is a full-service restaurant that can seat 30 to 40 guests inside, along with an outdoor patio seating area.

A Fusion of Peruvian and Mexican Flavors

Inca Maya's concept presents both authentic Peruvian and Mexican dishes while also introducing fusion plates. Customers will find birria tacos and burritos on the Mexican menu side, while the Peruvian menu will feature specialties like ceviche and Lomo Saltado (steak with fries and rice).

Ysla also disclosed plans to combine the two cuisines creatively: “We’re trying to modernize everything and even create fusion dishes, like a burrito with Lomo Saltado. It’s not just Peruvian food on one side and Mexican food on the other; we want to bring them together.”

The restaurant will also include a bar, offering cocktails and mocktails in an aesthetically modern environment.

Family Roots in the Restaurant Industry

Food and hospitality run in the family for Ysla. Her father owns Contigo Peru, a well-known Peruvian restaurant and bar in the area. While her father continues to operate Contigo Peru, Inca Maya represents Ysla’s own step into restaurant ownership.

Ysla also aims to increase the popularity of Peruvian food in Gwinnett County.

Opening Hours

Inka Maya will operate seven days a week for both lunch and dinner.
