Lemon Drop Play Cafe Opening This Summer in Wellington
Set to open late summer, the cafe will blend play and relaxation.
A new play cafe is coming to Wellington, ownership shared with Business Debut. Lemon Drop Play Cafe will be a relaxing and welcoming spot for both parents and children, featuring a dedicated play area, a cafe, and a Palm Beach-inspired atmosphere.
The business is currently in the permitting process, with hopes of opening in late summer at 4095 S State Rd 7 q2, Wellington, FL 33449. Lemon Drop Play Cafe will occupy a 1,550-square-foot space.
The play area will cater to children ages 0–7 and sit adjacent to a seating area near the cafe, which will serve specialty coffee, tea, and matcha drinks. Organic, healthy, and preservative-free snacks will also be available.
The goal is to create a space that’s comfortable for adults and entertaining for kids.
Entry to the play zone will be available by membership or single-entry fee. Memberships will include a set number of open play sessions and beverages. Higher-tier plans will also offer weekly educational, sensory, and developmental events.
Lemon Drop plans to be open six days a week, though specific days and hours have not yet been announced.

Ownership also shared that employees will have the option to bring their children to work.
