DELRAY BEACH, FL — La Marsa is nearing completion and targeting an opening before Thanksgiving at 13800 S Jog Rd #101, Delray Beach, FL 33446, managing partner Yousif Elsebaei told Business Debut. “We’re about 90% complete with construction and buildout,” he told Business Debut.

What to Expect

The Delray Beach restaurant spans about 5,000 square feet with approximately 150 seats. The build includes a private room for events such as corporate functions, showers and family gatherings. Elsebaei described the setting as fine-dining Mediterranean with traditional touches and upgraded ambiance.

The team plans entertainment programming after opening. Guests can expect select evenings with belly dancing and live instruments, along with a future grand opening event following a soft opening.

La Marsa serves a broad Mediterranean menu with Halal options. Signatures include lamb chops—New Zealand cuts marinated for 72 hours—along with house-made pita, hummus and a hearty lentil soup.

“We took the space to another level with fine dining elements while keeping a wide-ranging Mediterranean menu,” Elsebaei told Business Debut. Elsebaei also shared that they will have some authentic Egyptian dishes on the menu that guests cannot get anywhere else in South Florida.

The brand is well established in Michigan and recently marked two years in Coral Springs. Elsebaei said the Florida team aims to follow Michigan’s growth pace by opening roughly one location per year in the state.

Opening Timeline

The restaurant is targeting an opening before Thanksgiving, pending final inspections and wrap-up of the buildout. A soft opening will precede a larger grand opening with city officials.

Hours

Open daily 10 a.m.–10 p.m. A full bar is not planned at launch.
