Johnny’s NY Pizza Opening Largest Location in Hoschton

HOSCHTON, GA — Johnny’s NY Pizza will open a new location on January 5th at 3955 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548.

Franchisee Matt Potts told Business Debut the team will hold a friends-and-family day on January 3rd before the public launch. The brand operates more than 65 locations across Georgia.

What to Expect

The Hoschton restaurant will be the largest Johnny’s NY Pizza in the system, Potts reported. Potts said the expanded layout is designed to support high-volume family dining, community gatherings, and sports traffic. The 150-seat dining room includes booth and table seating, along with an enclosed private event room that holds 30 to 40 guests.

A full bar with 26 bar seats and additional bar-adjacent six-tops will give this location a bar program significantly larger than what is typical for the franchise. “This will be the largest Johnny’s Pizza there is,” Potts told Business Debut. “We wanted the space to host teams, families, and businesses in a way our other locations can’t.”

The team also plans weekly programming, including trivia, bingo, and a dine-in BOGO wing night offering 12 free wings with the purchase of 12.

Menu and Vision

The menu includes New York–style pizza, build-your-own options, the Johnny’s Deluxe, and a range of Italian classics such as lasagna, baked penne, spaghetti, and fettuccine Alfredo. Subs, salads, and wings round out the offerings.

“We have some of the best wings around,” Potts told Business Debut. “While we’re a pizza restaurant, we have tons of options for people who want something different.”

Potts entered the brand after working in corporate retail, joining Johnny’s through his uncle in 2018. He said the company’s family-oriented franchise structure is what led him and his wife, Alyson Potts, to grow to four total locations. “It feels more like a family operation than a corporate operation,” he said.
