Iron Oak Cigar Lounge Opening in Concord

This venue will offer cigars, drinks, and a golf simulator with indoor and outdoor seating.

CONCORD, NC — Iron Oak Cigar Lounge is under construction at 1048 Copperfield Blvd NE Suite 101, Concord, NC 28025, where owner Bjorn Mohaugen is developing a cigar-focused concept that will also include a bar and indoor golf simulator.

Mohaugen told Business Debut the team is targeting a soft opening in mid-May, followed by a grand opening in late May or early June.

What to Expect

Mohaugen said the lounge is designed as an upscale, comfortable space with lounge seating, high-top tables and areas suited for both small groups and individuals. The main space will include a bar and seating area, while the back of the venue will feature a golf simulator.

The concept also includes a large outdoor seating area, offering an alternative space for guests who prefer a less smoky environment. Mohaugen told Business Debut the goal is to create a setting that accommodates both cigar enthusiasts and guests who may prefer drinks or conversation without smoking.

Iron Oak Cigar Lounge will focus on a wide cigar selection paired with an extensive beverage program. Mohaugen told Business Debut the humidor is expected to carry around 150 SKUs over time, with a mix ranging from entry-level cigars to premium offerings.

The bar program will emphasize bourbon, along with tequila, rum, wine and a curated cocktail menu. Mohaugen told Business Debut the lounge plans to host tastings and offer flights, allowing guests to sample different spirits before choosing a full pour.

“We’re trying to have the biggest cigar selection in the area,” Mohaugen told Business Debut, noting the concept is designed to offer more variety than existing local options.
