BUFORD, GA — Bazaar International Market and Cafe, a new grocery store and cafe, is nearing completion at 1640 Buford Hwy NE, Buford, GA 30518. Owner Prabesh Pandey told Business Debut the team is about 95% to 96% done with construction and staging, and is working toward county review.
What to Expect
Bazaar International Market and Cafe will combine an international-focused grocery store with a cafe and a small seating area. The business will span about 8,000 square feet with on-site parking, Pandey told Business Debut.
On the retail side, the market is designed to serve shoppers looking for harder-to-find international ingredients alongside everyday staples. Pandey told Business Debut the assortment is planned to be about 60% international food and 40% standard American grocery items.
Menu and Vision
The Nepali, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, broader Asian foods, as well as Spanish and African products, with a primary focus on Indian items, Pandey told Business Debut.
The cafe is planned as a hybrid coffee-and-light-food concept with espresso drinks, cold fresh juices, smoothies, a protein bar, and sandwiches, along with some Indian and Nepali offerings.
Opening Timeline
Pandey told Business Debut the team is targeting a soft opening in late January or early February, followed by a grand opening a few months later.
Hours
Pandey told Business Debut the store plans to operate 365 days a year. The grocery store is expected to run 7 a.m.—9 p.m., while the cafe is planned for 7 a.m.—7 p.m.
