Clearwater Duo Franchising a Food Truck from a Pizza Restaurant
Entrepreneurs find a creative way to franchise their favorite brand.
Illinois-based pizza brand Antioch Pizza Shop will be in Clearwater via a food truck soon. Entrepreneurs Dylan Hernandez and Ryan Ringa are behind the new venture.
The business partners are from Illinois, where they grew to love Antioch Pizza Shop. Relocating in Clearwater, their first choice was to franchise a brick and mortar unit.
Hernandez reported that they adapted their plan to a mobile pizza shop. This gives them option to travel to events and pop ups throughout the area. A good relationship with the owners of the brand, Art and Karen Wicklein, helped their pivot to a mobile unit.
If the Antioch Pizza Shop food truck works out, Hernadez and Ringa will likely go brick and mortar. Their menu will be straightforward. Expect Italian beef sandwiches, pizza, and wings.
Hernandez estimates that they will open in a month or so. Check the brand's website.
