Huey’s, the New Orleans eatery on River Street in Savannah, is opening a new location on Main Street in Statesboro, GA, with partners Bob Isaacson and Tom Scarborough leading the charge, Isaacson told Business Debut. Isaacson started Huey's in Atlanta in 1983 before expanding to Savannah. Scarborough has managed Huey's on River Street in Savannah for several decades.

Hoping to open in January, Huey's will debut in the Quality Inn & Suites at 232 S Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458, which is undergoing renovations, Isaacson reported. Huey’s will feature breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night service. Expect full service dining and full bar.

The 120-seat restaurant will also house a private event space accommodating up to 400 guests. With two seasoned New Orleans chefs on staff, Huey’s aims to serve true New Orleans cuisine in Statesboro.
