History-Themed Family-Run Restaurant Opening Soon in Cocoa
The menu features modern takes on 1920s bar foods including pimento cheese and smoked fish.
The Vintage Vault is preparing to open soon at 114 Harrison Street, Cocoa, FL 32922. Owner Victoria Fuentes said the team plans to begin soft openings in mid- to late December, followed by a grand opening right after the New Year. “We are looking to start some soft openings around the middle to late December,” she said. “We are hosting our grand opening bash right after the New Year.”
Concept
The Vintage Vault is a family-run restaurant and lounge created by Victoria, her husband Frank, and their sons John and Andrew.
Their space is in a building originally built in 1928 for the Barnett Bank, and its historic character inspired the concept. “When we stepped inside, it just spoke to us,” Victoria said. “People need a nice relaxing restaurant and lounge to socialize, and we wanted to bring something unique—upscale but casual at the same time.”
Menu and Vision
The restaurant will offer full-service dining with two bars and a chef who has cooked across 39 states and for major events such as Super Bowls.
Victoria said the starting menu will feature modern takes on 1920s bar foods. “We are going to take some of the bar foods that were popular in the 1920s and put a modern twist to them,” she said.
Dishes will include items featuring pimento cheese, smoked fish, and a unique shrimp cocktail.
Space and Seating
The venue spans almost 6,000 square feet across two floors, each with its own bar. Seating will begin at a minimum of 120 seats and may increase to 150 pending city approval.
Victoria said the family has been completing the renovations themselves. “We’re taking our time because we want to get it right,” she said. “We want to be a reliable staple in historic Cocoa Village.”
Background
This is the family’s first full-service restaurant, but they bring experience from past businesses and a long family history in the bar and nightclub industry. Both sons are military veterans who returned home to be part of the project.
John served in the Air Force and Andrew served in the Navy, and both returned home to Florida to be part of the family venture.
Victoria described Andrew as a “bonus son” who joined their family in high school and has been with them ever since.
“All of the renovations have been done by my husband and my sons,” she shared, noting how meaningful it has been to build the restaurant together as a family.
Hours
Operating hours are still being finalized, but the team plans to offer lunch, brunch, and casual evening dining, especially on weekends.
