Here's What's Replacing White Duck Taco in Downtown Greenville: Tipsy Taco
Tipsy Taco is taking over the space on S Main Street.
GREENVILLE, SC – Tipsy Taco plans to open a new location at 20 S Main St, Greenville, SC 29601, in the former Bonjour Main and White Duck Taco space, owner Frank Roman told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
Roman said the downtown Greenville restaurant will be the brand's first location in what he described as "real downtown" Greenville. The site sits in the center of the city's Main Street corridor.
He described the buildout as a quick transition, with the opening targeted for "a couple months" from lease signing, depending on licensing and approvals.
What to Expect
Tipsy Taco’s menu centers on casual Tex-Mex with tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas and shareable starters. Tacos range from beef, chicken and al pastor-style choices to more specialty items like Bang Bang tacos, birria, carne asada and more. The restaurant also offers weekday lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including taco combos, burrito plates, taco-and-enchilada plates, quesadillas and lunch fajitas.
The downtown site will include a full bar, Roman shared.
Roman estimated the dining room will hold 15 to 20 tables, with seating dependent on final occupancy limits set by the city.
He also plans to add a DJ and late-night service on weekends, subject to city permissions.
