Heatwave to Open in Orlando
New multi-function LGBTQ+ space Heatwave to offer dining, coffee and nightlife.
Heatwave, a new multi-function LGBTQ+ space, is set to open at 741 W Church St, Orlando, FL 32805 before the end of 2024, as reported by the ownership team to Business Debut. The venue, formerly a nightclub, is being transformed into a restaurant, lounge and coffee concept.
Co-owners Kevin Varanai, Andrea Dunn and Brandon Wood are creating three distinct sections within the property. The space will feature a full-service restaurant offering tapas and shareable dishes, as well as a coffee program and a nighttime lounge. The downstairs area will function as a coffee shop by day and transform into a late-night spot, while the outside patio and upstairs area will remain dedicated to the restaurant.
With 87 seats, Heatwave aims to be an inclusive LGBT+ space operating from morning to night, co-owner Varanai reported. The venue will offer cocktails, beer, and wine, alongside its food and coffee offerings.
As renovations continue, keep an eye on W Church St for Heatwave.
