DESTIN, FL — Bowled Healthy Food Company is preparing to open a new fast-casual restaurant at 4467A Commons Drive W., Destin, FL 32541, with owners Stephanie Reynolds and her husband, Karomenya Reynolds, targeting an early March debut.

Reynolds told Business Debut the team is planning a grand opening during the first week of March, with March 7 currently targeted. The Destin location will mark the brand’s third Florida restaurant and the first for the couple, who decided to bring the concept to the area after seeing a gap in quick, healthy dining options.

What to Expect

Bowled Healthy Food Company is a fast-casual concept focused on fresh, customizable meals. Guests will order at the counter, either through a self-order kiosk or with help from a team member, and can tailor bowls and smoothies to their preferences.

The restaurant will offer seating for about 20 guests initially, with capacity to expand to roughly 30. Reynolds said the flexibility of the ordering system allows guests to take their time and build meals that fit their dietary needs.

Menu and Vision

The menu centers on salads, açaí bowls, smoothies, and grain bowls. With the exception of the açaí base, which is frozen, all fruits and vegetables are prepared fresh daily.

Reynolds said her personal favorites include the signature açaí bowl and the salads, noting that the menu also features options like jerk chicken and farm-style salads. “Everything is customizable, so you can really have it your way,” she told Business Debut.

Ownership Background

Before opening Bowled, Reynolds spent her career in healthcare. She said the stress of the pandemic prompted her to explore opportunities focused on wellness and prevention rather than treatment.

“I was looking for something on the other side of healthcare, before people get sick,” Reynolds told Business Debut. That search led her to the Bowled brand, which is based in New York and began franchising after opening its first location in 2020.

Her husband, Karomenya Reynolds, works in dental care and initially planned to be a silent partner. Over the past year, he has become increasingly involved, particularly with networking and community outreach.
