Harmony Indian Cuisine Coming Soon to Coral Springs
Tandoori octopus, fresh seafood, and robust vegetarian specialties will highlight the restaurant's debut this fall.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A new dining destination is preparing to bring bold flavors and cultural fusion to the community. Harmony Indian Cuisine, located at 1142 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071, is set to open its doors within the next 20 to 25 days, according to co-owner Melkey Baiju, who spoke with Business Debut.
Baiju is joined by partners Richard Joseph, Joby Sebastian, and Jose Cherolikkal, all of whom bring extensive restaurant and culinary experience. “We want everyone to know the flavors and the culture of the Indian community as much as they can,” Baiju said.
A Fusion of Indian Traditions and Global Flavors
Harmony Indian Cuisine will showcase a wide variety of regional specialties from North, South, East, and West India, alongside Indo-Chinese and Indo-Pakistani dishes. Guests can expect more than just the traditional staples found at many Indian restaurants.
Unique highlights include tandoori-style dishes, a robust vegetarian menu, fresh seafood options, and the standout tandoori octopus, a rare specialty that sets the restaurant apart.
“Our menu is coming from different cultures throughout India. The two main things we're going to be focusing on are healthy vegetarian dishes and a lot of seafood dishes too,” Baiju explained.
Ownership Backstory and Vision
Baiju, who began his career working in American restaurants after immigrating, partnered with Joseph, Sebastian, and Cherolikkal, each of whom carries a strong culinary background. Sebastian’s brother owns a well-known restaurant in India, and Cherolikkal previously worked as a head chef with the Oman Royal Navy.
Family involvement will also play a key role in daily operations. “There's a lot of family involvement in this. They are our backbone at the end of the day,” Baiju said. “We want to open this for the community throughout. Food always brings happiness to everyone's face; that's the most important thing, it's a unification. We want everyone to know the flavors that are coming out from Harmony.”
Hours and Service Style
The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. On weekends, doors will open earlier to feature special Indian breakfast options. Unlike many Indian restaurants that close mid-afternoon, Harmony Indian Cuisine plans to remain open straight through the day.
