Halftime Hangout Sports Bar Preparing to Open in Raeford
The neighborhood sports bar will offer wings, smash burgers, pool tables, and Louisiana-inspired dishes.
RAEFORD, NC — Halftime Hangout Sports Bar is preparing to open at 2080 Club Pond Rd, Raeford, NC 28376, co-owner Brigida Amos told Business Debut. The restaurant is planning a family-and-friends event on the 15th, with an official opening date to be announced.
What to Expect
Amos shared that Halftime Hangout Sports Bar will be a neighborhood spot to connect of sports, food, and drinks. The space will include a pool table and dart boards, Amos told Business Debut.
The restaurant also plans to host different entertainment nights, including karaoke and trivia. On Fridays and Saturdays, Amos said the team may add a band or DJ.
After 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, guests must be 25 and older to enter.
Menu and Vision
The menu will start with sports bar-style food, including smash burgers, salads and wings, Amos told Business Debut. She said guests have already been asking whether wings will be on the menu.
Amos, who is from Louisiana, said the restaurant will also begin adding Louisiana dishes over time. Gumbo is expected to be available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the menu will also include fish po’boys and shrimp po’boys.
“We just gonna try to integrate more Louisiana food as we go,” Amos told Business Debut.
Amos said she and her family saw a need for more things to do in Raeford. She said they surveyed the community and found interest in a restaurant with a bar and decided to open Halftime Hangout.
Opening Timeline
Halftime Hangout Sports Bar is nearing opening, Amos told Business Debut. The team is working through orientation and final opening steps, with an official opening date to be announced.
Hours
Halftime Hangout Sports Bar plans to open every day except Tuesday.
Planned hours are 11 a.m. — 9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 11 a.m. — 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
