Halal Smashburgers Coming to Temple Terrace
Haddaburger will open in Temple Terrace serving halal smashburgers, limited menu items, loaded fries, and specialty milkshakes.
TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Haddaburger is planning to open a new halal burger restaurant at 8932 Bertha Palmer Blvd Unit A, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. Owner Hassan told Business Debut the team is working toward a January opening, with early February as a backup if construction causes delays.
What to Expect
Haddaburger will be a fast-casual burger concept focused on simplicity, quality, and halal-certified food. Guests will order at the counter and dine in, with seating available indoors and plans for outdoor seating as well. The restaurant will seat about 24 guests inside.
The menu is intentionally limited, aiming to highlight flavor rather than volume, with fewer than 15 total items planned.
Menu and Vision
Hassan told Business Debut the concept is built around smashburgers that emphasize the taste of the beef, cheese, and house-made sauces. Toppings will be minimal, limited to onions and jalapeños that are smashed directly into the burger and lightly caramelized to add flavor without overpowering heat.
Milkshakes will be a major focus, featuring flavors inspired by the Gulf region rather than standard offerings. Planned flavors include mango, saffron, and rose, alongside more familiar options for guests who prefer them.
As an exclusive detail shared (so far) with Business Debut only, Haddaburger will offer Nashville-style mozzarella logs. Hassan said the oversized logs are a larger take on traditional mozzarella sticks and will be available in three spice levels. Additional sides will include loaded fries topped with smashburger meat and choice of sauces.
All food served at Haddaburger will be halal certified, which Hassan said is a core part of the concept and sourcing approach.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a January opening. If additional time is needed, the restaurant expects to open by early February.
Hours
Haddaburger plans to be open daily. Hours are still being finalized, but the restaurant is targeting service from approximately 11 a.m. — 12 a.m.
