JASPER, FL — Grace’s Farm Kitchen is preparing to open at 202 Hatley Street, Jasper, FL 32052, with owner Terrie Warren targeting a January or February opening, she told Business Debut.

The restaurant will feature a full Southern buffet with a salad bar, hot bar, and dessert bar. Dishes will include fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, soups, cabbage, and fresh vegetables prepared daily.

Guests will be greeted by a hostess, have their drinks served tableside, and then visit the buffet. The space will seat about 150 guests.

Warren aims to offer traditional Southern cooking centered on fresh vegetables and familiar comfort dishes. Desserts will rotate based on what the team prepares that day.

“This is something the community actually needs,” she told Business Debut. “I love to cook, and this is a true labor of love for the community.”

Grace’s Farm Kitchen is opening in the former H&F Restaurant building, a longtime Jasper establishment originally run by the Waters family. Warren said the original owner, Miss Waters, was a “pillar of the community,” and the building carries decades of local history.

The structure was rebuilt after a fire in 1994 and most recently operated as a buffet, aligning with Warren’s plan to continue a familiar format for Jasper residents.

Warren has worked in food service since age 15, beginning in a dish pit before moving into kitchen roles and learning from experienced chefs. She later worked at the historic Telford Hotel before launching her food truck, Grazin’ Grace, in 2023.

She said the food truck was the most practical first step toward her dream of owning a brick-and-mortar restaurant. After two years of operating the truck in Jasper, she is now renovating the former H&F building “from the ground up,” including new flooring, equipment, paint, tables, and chairs.

Warren is joined by her stepdaughter, Kacy Warren, who has worked with her since the food truck’s launch and remains deeply involved in daily operations.

Her husband, Kim Warren, has assisted with the interior buildout and helped fund both the food truck and the restaurant. Warren said the project is entirely self-funded without support from the county, making family involvement essential.

Warren said she understands how much the former restaurant meant to many families and hopes her new concept will carry that spirit forward. “I just want to do something good for the community,” she said.

The team is targeting a January or February opening while completing a full refurbishment of the space.
