G’Daddy’s Soul Food Kitchen to Debut Soon in Denver
A new family food truck business is opening in Denver, NC.
DENVER, NC – G’Daddy’s Soul Food Kitchen is bringing homestyle comfort cooking to the Denver, NC area, with a food truck set to debut in October.
The family-owned business is led by Cory Moses and his wife, their three sons, Cam, Chris, and Cohen, and three daughters who work behind the scenes. G'Daddy's will serve a rotating schedule of Southern favorites throughout Denver and Charlotte. Moses told Business Debut that they are still waiting for the county permits to be finalized, and the target date for opening will be October 15.
A Soulful Menu of Comfort Classics
G'Daddy's Soul Food Kitchen's menu pays homage to the best of Southern comfort cuisine. Aside from candied yams, collard greens, mac and cheese, squash, okra, coleslaw, and other favorites, guests can expect crispy fried fish, pork chops, catfish, whiting, and fried chicken.
Homemade dishes like meatloaf, baked chicken, salmon patties, beef stew, barbecue ribs, and chicken and dumplings will also be part of the daily rotating menu. For dessert, guests will find handmade pound cake, sweet potato pie, and banana pudding.

Family Roots and a Dream in Motion
For Moses and his family, G’Daddy’s Soul Food Kitchen is more than just a food truck; it’s a family legacy. “This is a family business,” Moses shared. “We’ve got our sons and daughters working with us, we're all doing this together.”
Moses formerly owned Gene and Dean Catering, a thriving catering firm, for over 20 years before taking time off to care for his family. Moses intends to grow to a fleet of food trucks and eventually construct a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Denver within the next two years.
