ATLANTA, GA & ST. AUGUSTINE, FL — Fuse Frozen Co. is expanding its footprint with two new franchise locations—one in Hapeville, Georgia, and another at 7474 U.S. Highway 1, Suite 102, St. Augustine, FL 32095. Co-founder and CEO Justin Henshaw told Business Debut the stores are targeting a February 2026 opening. These will be the brand’s first franchised stores.

What to Expect

Fuse Frozen Co. offers a self-serve frozen dessert model featuring frozen yogurt, Italian gelato, frozen custard, and sorbet. Guests can expect between eight and ten rotating flavors, with four signature staples: Taro, Italian Gelato Caramel Sea Salt, Mucho Chocolato, and Vanilla Gelato.

The fast-casual concept will feature indoor and outdoor seating options, depending on location size. Henshaw said each space will range from roughly 1,000 to 1,500 square feet.

Henshaw, who co-founded the brand with his wife Brie 14 years ago, said Fuse was created as a fun and approachable dessert concept centered on quality and community. “Fuse is just so much fun,” Henshaw told Business Debut. “We literally serve smiles—we serve families, friends, and communities that come together for a treat.”

He said the company’s mission is to deliver an elevated frozen experience in a familiar self-serve format. “We serve the best and finest Italian gelato along with our frozen yogurts and custards,” Henshaw said. “It’s all about variety and enjoyment.”

Opening Timeline

The St. Augustine and Hapeville locations are both targeting a February 2026 opening. The stores will join Fuse’s existing locations on St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island, Georgia.

Franchise Opportunities

Henshaw said Fuse Frozen Co. is now focused on expanding across the Southeast through additional franchise partnerships. “The Southeast is where we’re focusing first—Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina are our targets right now,” he told Business Debut.

The company offers flexible footprints for stores between 1,000 and 1,500 square feet and works closely with franchisees to select strong local markets. “We’ve built Fuse to be a concept that’s both fun to own and rewarding to operate,” Henshaw said.
