Fuego27 Bringing New York Flavor to Winter Haven

WINTER HAVEN, FL — Fuego27, a new fast casual restaurant from owner Daniel Arce, is set to open on December 5 at 586 Avenue C SE, Winter Haven, FL 33880, Arce told Business Debut. The restaurant will begin with a soft opening before hosting a grand opening for guests traveling in for the launch.

What to Expect

Fuego27 will operate as a sit-down fast casual restaurant with a theme inspired by late 80s and early 90s New York City. The space will seat about 40 guests.

Arce said the concept blends his Brooklyn upbringing, military travels, and Caribbean influences. “I wanted to bring the flavor of the 80s and 90s of New York City to Florida,” he told Business Debut.

Guests can expect an atmosphere featuring music from the era along with counter-service options, full table service, and availability on third-party delivery apps.

The restaurant is a family effort, with Arce’s wife, Kimberly Arce, also part of the business.

Menu and Vision

The menu is designed to serve a diverse customer base from the surrounding military base, high school, and corporate offices. It will include an organic-leaning lineup of American and Caribbean-inspired dishes.

Arce highlighted items such as yucca loca fries and a guacamole burger served on plantain buns instead of traditional bread. “I’m going to make sure to have things like your typical hamburgers and hot dogs, but with a twist,” he told Business Debut.

The head Chef is Chef Tommy who ranked fifth in a recent Polk County cooking competition, will lead the kitchen.

Opening Timeline

Fuego27 is scheduled to open December 5.
