Fresh Monkee to Debut in Ponte Vedra with Patio Seating

Fresh Monkee, a fast-casual smoothie and protein snack shop, is set to open its newest location at 330 A1A N STE 300, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. Local owner Christopher Wilson told Business Debut he expects to open mid to late September 2025, pending final inspections and buildout.

“We don't just want to be a place that's serving healthy fast, quick service snacks and shakes, but also a spot where people can come spend some time and converse, and hang out for a little bit as well,” Wilson said. The Ponte Vedra Beach location will have indoor and outdoor areas for up to 40 guests, with a large 350-square-foot patio that's ideal for relaxing after a workout or catching up with friends. “We’re right across from a Pilates studio, so I can easily see people grabbing a shake after class and relaxing together.”

Fresh Monkee’s menu focuses on protein-based smoothies, like the popular chunky monkey (milk, protein, banana, and peanut butter) and the cinnamon toast and coffee for coffee lovers. Seasonal specials rotate every few months. This Summer's feature is a watermelon-strawberry limeade. It also offers monkey balls, protein-packed handmade snacks, and a small selection of grab-and-go items like protein cookies, celsius drinks, and alani beverages. The new location will operate Monday through Friday from 7 am–7 pm, and Saturday–Sunday from 8 am–4 pm.

Fresh Monkee was founded by Judy Flynn in 2014 in Connecticut and quickly grew to serve customers in over 15 states. The Ponte Vedra Beach location marks the second in Florida, following a recent opening in Davie. This franchise will be operated by Wilson and his wife, Dana, along with their two daughters, Juliana and Sophia, who have been part of the journey from the beginning—even joining their parents on a discovery trip to a Fresh Monkee location in Connecticut. “My wife, Dana, and our daughters, Juliana and Sophia—they’re young, but they’re excited about the shop opening,” Wilson shared.

And the family isn’t stopping at one store: a second Fresh Monkee location is already in the works for the Fountains East development off Highway 210 near Beachwalk, with a tentative opening set for spring 2026.
