Fremont NC Welcoming New Full-Service Bar and Grill

FREMONT, NC — The Venue Bar & Grill is targeting an April opening at 121 East Main St., Fremont, NC 27830, owner Brandon Canaday told Business Debut. The new full-service bar and grill will be operated by Brandon Canaday and his wife, Victoria Kennedy.

Canaday said equipment has been ordered and progress is ongoing as they prepare the space for opening.

What to Expect

The Venue Bar & Grill will feature two pool tables, a full-service bar and seating for approximately 60 guests. Plans include nine four-top tables, two six-top tables and about 14 barstools.

The menu will focus on casual bar and grill fare, including hamburgers, hot dogs, wraps, wings and appetizers. Weekend entertainment is also part of the concept, with plans for karaoke, DJs and live music.

Canaday said the goal is to create a space that feels welcoming to all guests. “We want it where everybody feels comfortable in there,” he told Business Debut.
The Venue plans to host local musicians and small bands, and is considering live performances for its opening.

This marks Canaday’s first restaurant venture. He also owns a wellness business in Smithfield and manages a stainless steel fabrication company.

The team is targeting an April opening.

Hours

Planned hours are 11 a.m. — 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Friday and Saturday hours are expected to run 11 a.m. — 1 or 2 a.m., with Sunday service planned for 11 a.m. — 9 or 10 p.m. Hours may be adjusted based on demand.
