APOPKA, FL — The Bloom Lounge is preparing to relocate and expand in Apopka, bringing together a florist, small cafe and rentable creative workspaces in one mixed-use concept.

Owner Edwin Cabrera told Business Debut the business is targeting a move by the end of February, with a public opening around March 1 at 2129 E. Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703.

Cabrera said the team is combining multiple adjacent units and is awaiting a permanent address assignment from the city.

What to Expect

Cabrera said the new location will total about 5,800 square feet, with one side dedicated to the floral operation and retail coolers and the other side built out as the Bloom Lounge cafe and community space. Seating is planned along the front windows for working, plus lounge-style seating and outdoor tables.

The space is also set to include a podcast studio (with production support available), a photography-focused creative studio with backdrops and props, a conference room designed for meetings and interviews, and a private office intended for quiet work or studying.

Membership tiers and a la carte rentals are planned.

The cafe is planned as a barista-served concept with a European-inspired drink menu, including options like Austria’s “Wiener Melange,” Italy’s “Bicerin,” and Greece’s “Fredo cappuccino,” Cabrera said.

Food service will be limited by the buildout and code requirements. Cabrera said the Bloom Lounge will use “Smart Mart” vending machines stocked with packaged, fresh meals and snacks. The team plans to partner with Icebox for items such as salads, wraps, sandwiches, and other packaged meals.

Opening Timeline

Cabrera said the team is aiming to get through Valentine’s Day at the current shop, move into the new space by the end of February, and open to the public around March 1, followed by a grand opening.

Hours

Planned hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. for the florist side and 8 a.m.–7 p.m. for the Bloom Lounge cafe. Cabrera said floral retail purchases will still be available later through the connected cafe checkout, though custom design services will end when designers are off for the day.
