Latitudes Waterfront Grill and Oyster Bar
COCOA, FL — Latitudes Waterfront Grill and Oyster Bar is preparing to open at 5370 U.S. Rte 1, Cocoa, FL 32927 as early as the weekend of December 9–10, with a backup target of December 16–17, owner Philip Tretola told Business Debut.
The waterfront property spans more than three acres along the Indian River and features 725 feet of river frontage with views from every seat. The restaurant includes a 40-seat indoor dining room, nearly 100 outdoor seats, a Hawaiian-influenced tiki bar, and a mid-bar with a stage for live entertainment, bar games, and additional dining.

Precision Bakery & Eatery Inc.
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL — Precision Bakery & Eatery Inc. is preparing to open as early as next week at 593 E. Sample Road, Deerfield Beach, FL 33064. Owner Jasmas Altimer told Business Debut the debut marks his first restaurant venture, which he is launching with his son, Lovenson Altimer.
The full-service eatery will serve Caribbean cuisine with a menu centered on traditional preparations.

Casa Cotzelli
NAPLES, FL — Casa Cotzelli, the Italian restaurant from co-owners Filippo Butelli and Gabriele Cotza, is planning to open a second Naples location in mid-January 2026 at 12712 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, FL 34113, they told Business Debut.
Escambia County
Sweet Blessings Cafe
PENSACOLA, FL — Sweet Blessings Cafe is preparing to open in mid-December inside the SCI Building at 220 W Garden St, Pensacola, FL 32502, owner Agustin Rodriguez told Business Debut. The family-run concept will serve breakfast and lunch to building tenants and the surrounding downtown community.

Porkchop’s Barbecue
LAKE PLACID, FL — Porkchop’s Barbecue, a new counter-service barbecue restaurant from owner Gage Pennisi, is targeting a January opening at 295 E Interlake Blvd, Lake Placid, FL 33852, he told Business Debut.
Porkchop’s Barbecue will operate as a casual, counter-service spot. Guests will walk in, choose their meats at the counter, select from four or five sides, then take their trays to a small dining area.

Outback Steakhouse

Papi's Tampa
TAMPA, FL — Papi’s Tampa, a modern restaurant and lounge blending American bar fare with Latin influences, is preparing to open before the end of the year at 1708–1710 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605, owner Robert George told Business Debut. He is aiming to host a grand opening party on New Year’s Eve.

Mando’s Cuisine
LEE, FL — Jose Flores is preparing to debut Mando’s Cuisine, a new food truck serving Lee County with a menu shaped by his 38 years of cooking experience. Flores told Business Debut he is targeting an opening in about a month and will operate from his commissary kitchen at 535 SE Baldwin Dr., Lee, FL 32059.
Mando’s Cuisine will feature a small but distinctive menu centered on baked empanadas made from scratch.

At its core, Culture Shift Elixery will operate as a bar and social lounge offering an alternative nightlife experience. Hayes described the concept as a place where guests can explore functional beverages, including hemp-infused drinks, handcrafted mocktails, and a range of nonalcoholic options, alongside beer, wine, and sake selections.

MIAMI, FL — Portofino Fresh Market plans to open by the end of December, bringing a compact but fully equipped fresh market, deli, bakery, and hot food program to 2200 NE 2 Ave, Miami, FL 33137, owner Jose Nunez told Business Debut.

POMPANO BEACH, FL — Supreme Organic Juice, founded by Alfredo Daniel Padilla Torres, is preparing to expand its mobile juice and food service throughout Broward County, with operations based at its commissary kitchen at 2083 N Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33069.
Padilla Torres told Business Debut he is targeting an October opening for the expanded concept.

Fishwife
KEY WEST, FL — Chef and restaurateur Ryan Shapiro plans to open Fishwife at 223 Petronia St, Key West, FL 33040 in January or February, pending completion of construction, he told Business Debut. The new restaurant is a partnership between Shapiro, his longtime culinary school partner Matthew Cohen, and his wife Emma Shapiro, who he says plays a central role in the business.
The menu and atmosphere will reflect a Bahamian-influenced, easygoing island style rooted in Key West.
Okalusa County
Nonna’s Ristorante
DESTIN, FL — Chef Tim Crehan plans to open Nonna’s Ristorante in mid-December at the Emerald Grande, targeting December 15 or December 16 for a soft launch, he told Business Debut.
The restaurant will open at 2 Harbor Blvd, Suite 200, Destin, FL 32541, marking a formal return to Destin for the chef who became known locally during his early fine dining career.

Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño
ORLANDO, FL — Mi Ranchito Oaxaqueño has officially opened at 1790 N Chickasaw Trail, Orlando, FL 32825.
The restaurant offers a casual, family-run setting with seating for about 30 guests across five tables. The menu centers on Mexican staples made with Oaxacan influence. Guests can expect tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tlayudas prepared with quesillo imported directly from Oaxaca.
Seasons of India
ORLANDO, FL — Seasons of India is preparing to open at 7085 S Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32809, with owner Badri Soma telling Business Debut the restaurant is aiming for an opening as early as this weekend or by next Monday or Tuesday.
Soma described Seasons of India as a concept blending authentic Indian cuisine with Chinese and Mexican fusion elements, developed after the team tested the Orlando market through ghost kitchens.
Palm Beach County
Locals Only Neighborhood Bar
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL — Locals Only Neighborhood Bar is preparing to open in early January at 1230 N Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460, owner Eric Sessions told Business Debut.
The new opening expands his existing Locals Only presence in downtown West Palm Beach. The management team includes Michael Hadidis and Christian Meneses at the helm.
Pepe's Cantina
BOCA RATON, FL — Pepe’s Cantina is getting ready to welcome guests to its newest home at 3011 Yamato Rd., Ste. A-1, Boca Raton, FL 33434, with an opening targeted for late February or early March, Andrea Jaramillo told Business Debut.
The Boca Raton restaurant will be the eighth Pepe’s Cantina location, continuing a warm, community-focused approach the brand has carried through Florida since 2015, franchisor Frank Chavez said.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — EggBred is targeting an opening before the end of 2025 at 16916 Focus Lp #10, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638, its upcoming location at, owner Diane Hartzel told Business Debut.
The restaurant will become unit number 10 for the California-based brand, which first opened in La Habra during the pandemic.

Chocolate Bistro
DUNEDIN, FL — Chocolate Bistro is preparing to open at 1004 Broadway, Dunedin, FL 34698, where mother–daughter team Shannon Saathoff and Alexandra Andrews are creating a dessert-focused space inspired by their travels and longtime love of chocolate. The pair told Business Debut they are targeting an early January opening.
