Fincher's Barbecue Opening a Warner Robins Location
The 90 year old, family owned brand is expanding to their 5th location.
WARNER ROBINS, GA — Fincher’s Barbecue is preparing to open a new location at 102 S Armed Forces Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31088, in the former Martin’s Southern Style Barbecue space. Co-owner Jake Fincher told Business Debut the restaurant is about a month away from opening, with final equipment installation and dining room setup currently underway.
The Warner Robins restaurant will continue the family-owned brand’s legacy, which dates back to 1935.
What to Expect
The new location will feature a spacious dining room with seating for approximately 75 to 100 guests. A drive-thru will also be available, a service model the company already operates at two other locations and considers a significant part of its business.
Service style is still being finalized. The team is evaluating whether the restaurant will offer full waitstaff service or a counter-order model with food brought to tables, prioritizing speed and efficiency for customers, including those on limited lunch breaks.
Menu and Vision
The menu will remain consistent with other Fincher’s Barbecue locations, with a focus on barbecue staples and longtime customer favorites. Expect BBQ sandwiches, burgers, plates, biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, sides like fried okra, slaw, fries, Brunswick stew, and much more.
The brand’s roots trace back to 1935, when Jake Fincher’s grandfather started the business alongside his wife, Annie Laurie Fincher. Over the decades, the family expanded to additional Middle Georgia locations, with each generation maintaining ownership and operations. In the late 1990s, Jake Fincher and his brother Doug Fincher took over leadership and have continued to grow the business.
“It’s been immediate family the whole time,” Fincher told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting an opening in approximately one month, pending final preparations and inspections.
Hours
Fincher’s Barbecue plans to operate Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. — 3:30 p.m., with a focus on breakfast and lunch service.
